How can we beat 14 days of unbroken sunshine with little wind and cloudless skies……. Those who attended were able to ride in the company of Dean Downing the Rapha Condor Sharp pro and four of his team mates and also Lars Bak who for 2011 will be riding with HTC High Road. This meant that Group one was a little bit on the “tasty” side! Colin Lewis winner of over 40 British Professional races and twice finisher in the Tour de France was also on hand to provide advice and support throughout the two weeks and generally show that at 68 years old he hasn’t slowed down much! SIS continue to offer fantastic support to the camps and Alistair Rutherford and Andy Kelly both attended as National track medallists from 2010 showing that they practice what they preach at SIS. Mark Webber even graced us with his presence. What a genuinely nice bloke he is and he can ride a bike a bit too……. Looks like next year could be popular.
