Happy Christmas from Andy Cook Cycling

Happy Christmas from Andy Cook Cycling

What a year it’s been for everyone. We were out in Mallorca when the Spanish Government announced Lockdown on Saturday 17th March. This sadly coincided with the beginning of Week 2 of our Spring Camp, which meant we had to get 60+ clients, our staff and finally ourselves safely off the island and home before the airports closed!

I must be honest, as an eternal optimist I was quite relieved initially when lockdown was announced, as I felt a couple of months ‘off’ would provide time to recharge the batteries safe in the knowledge that we had a fair array of major cycle events to deliver at the back end of the year. The enormity of the situation started to become more apparent as time went on…

It’s fair to say that I had managed to ride far more than normal during lockdown due to the lack of events to deliver and the good weather which meant that I took the opportunity to ride the End to End on my own with Jacqui supporting. It was a great trip allowing me to scope out some new roads for potential new LEJOG trips in the future.

The barren year has allowed us time to reflect and consider new events that we might consider closer to home with some classic routes in some wonderful British countryside. Watch our social media regularly for updates and new events as they get added to the ACC portfolio.

In the meantime from us all at ACC here’s to a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and Happy New Year.
