Andy Cook Cycling and Forth Edge

Andy Cook Cycling are pleased to be partnering with Forth Edge – an innovative new service designed to give insight into inner health, by measuring substances produced by your body called biomarkers.

Biomarkers are usually monitored via the blood. Advances in technology now means that for a wide range of biomarkers, the sample can usually be collected quickly and easily at-home using a DIY finger-prick blood kit. Forth Edge enables you to do just that, giving sports people direct access to the same biomarker profiling used by elite athletes.

That’s why Andy Cook Cycling are partnering with Forth Edge to offer our riders four packages – Race FitEnduranceTraining Load and Recovery which have been specifically tailored to the demands of our riders.

Once tested the results-tracking dashboard enables you to track changes and discover patterns related to training and diet. Rather than a short-term snapshot, this offers long-term insight, helping you to improve your energy levels, reduce the risk of injury and avoid over-training so you can perform to your potential.

In addition, Andy Cook’s Cyclists will benefit from £25 off any test ordered before end March 2018, just enter AndyCook25 at check out on www.forthedge.co.uk

Sarah Bolt, Founder of Forth Edge says

“We’re really excited to partner with Andy Cook Cycling. Our aim is to make biomarker testing and tracking available to all athletes irrespective of the level at which they compete, and this partnership helps us to do just that. Forth Edge provides athletes with the missing piece in the training jigsaw.  Our service gives people the knowledge to unlock weakness from the inside out, so they can maximise their training and improve performance whilst at the same time protecting their health.”
