What a great night last night at the Action Medical Research “Champions of Cyclesport” black tie ‘do’……. Being an avid Arsenal fan it was a delight to be at the home of football, The Emirates stadium…! Forget all the cycling stars, Olympic gold medallists, yellow jersey holders from the Tour and previous world champions, I got to shake the hand of the great Bob Wilson (Arsenal Goalkeeper in the seventies…..) Not to mention half of my pop idols from the eighties……! Lots of money raised for a very worthy cause.
